Less bookkeeping, more planning
Other applications tend to concentrate on bookkeeping features whereas MoneyTwizz intends to be a planning tool. You do not have to spend time in entering long lists of amounts exactly, you can concentrate on the planning itself. Most of the time you don't care if the account information is 1 dollar or euro wrong, but you want to see that the overall budget is spent the way you planned.
Speed
There is no hierarchy of income or expense topics. Don't waste your time in trying to devise a perfect system, it does not exist. I worked for years with other applications, spent hours in devising these hierarchies, but I never ever used these data during the planning stage. So forget about the less important activities that consume time, get to the core of planning.
Ease of use
Since MoneyTwizz focuses on the planning aspect, the application is simple to use. You do not need a thick manual to start using the application
